Siop Lyfrau'r Senedd-dy
In December 2021 Siop Lyfrau'r Senedd-dy opened, this is a new venture by Geoff Young & Diane Bailey who also run Penrallt Bookshop and Ffotogaleri y Gofeb in Machynlleth. In the shop you can browse at your leisure through a wide range of poetry & art books, anthologies, novels and non-fiction relating to Wales's language and culture in both Welsh and English. As well as being a bookshop Siop Lyfrau'r Senedd-dy is the new official home of 'O'r Pedwar Gwynt'.
Opening hours: Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 10.30pm - 3.30pm

Guided tours in Machynlleth
Machynlleth is a fascinating historical town full of great architecture, and of course it was once the capital of Wales. This guided tour includes – the history of Owain Glyndwr, Parliament House and the town of Machynlleth. Most of the walk is on the flat but you will need suitable footwear and clothing for all weathers. The walk is 1:30 hours starting in front of Owain Glyndwr's Parliament House at 9:30 am. Available on Wednesdays or other times by pre-arrangement only. Discounts can be given for parties.
